Are voltage and frequency directly proportional?

Voltage is not directly related to frequency.

What happens to voltage and current when frequency increases?

Voltage does not depend on frequency and will remain same no matter how much you increase the frequency. Voltage and Frequency are generally independent i.e., there is no effect of frequency on voltage if you are not specifying the element across which you are measuring voltage.

What is the relationship between the number of turns of the wire and electrical output of the generator?

Thickness of wire depends upon ampere rating, if you want more current to be carried then thickness should be increased. Next , the number of turns depends upon the emf you need to generate. More the turns , greater the emf you can generate.

Are voltage and current inversely proportional?

The relationship between current, voltage and resistance is expressed by Ohm’s Law. This states that the current flowing in a circuit is directly proportional to the applied voltage and inversely proportional to the resistance of the circuit, provided the temperature remains constant.

What is the difference between voltage and frequency of transformer?

Transformer is a static device which is used to step up or step down the voltage. So it only step up or down the voltage not the frequency. voltage is an electrical signal and frequency defines the behavior of signal ( i.e no of cycles passing in single second )

What is the effect of voltage and frequency on current output?

Since power = voltage*current so, if voltage is to be increased then definitely current output will be less or vice versa. Coming to frequency, the size and constant losses in transformer is decided by frequency.

Why do we have to care about the input frequency of transformer?

When we purchase a transformer it is always marked in that name plate is that is designed to operate for particular frequency. Even though in transformer, the frequency is unchanged, but why we have to care about input frequency of the transformer. Let see the relationship between the transformer and KVA output of the transformer,

What is the relationship of frequency vs kVA output of transformer?

Relationship of Frequency Vs KVA output or Rating of the transformer. When we purchase a transformer it is always marked in that name plate is that is designed to operate for particular frequency. Even though in transformer, the frequency is unchanged, but why we have to care about input frequency of the transformer.
