Can we get NPTEL certificate without exam?

There is an optional proctored certification exam that the learner can take for a nominal fee at the end of the course to earn certificates from the IITs. The learner has to be present in person for the exam and currently exams are conducted only in India in about 130+ cities in two shifts.

Can we write two NPTEL exams?

You may register for as many online courses that you like. For the number of exams that can be written, if we have 2 dates, then you can give exams for 2 courses.

How do you put NPTEL certificate on a resume?

For each resume certification entry, include the following information:

  1. Name of Certification.
  2. Name of Certifying Agency or Body.
  3. Dates of Obtainment.
  4. Location (If the certification is location-specific)
  5. Expiration date (If applicable; of course, don’t list certifications on a resume that have expired)

What is the pattern of the NPTEL online exam?

NPTEL online exam pattern depends on the course. It is usually told to you during the course itself. Generally it is objective (25-50 questions) in 3 hrs. Sometimes programming or subjective type also. NPTEL papers are not available officially since they are online.

Can I join more than one NPTEL course at a time?

Yes.You may join for any number of NPTEL courses you wish but you can write exams only for a maximum of six courses per semester. You can take one exam in the forenoon session and another during the afternoon session on the same day.

How do I get NPTEL certificates?

They are issued by MHRDs initiative’s (NPTEL). They will be issued by particular IITs whose course you have opted for. Nothing can be more beneficial than these online certificates to prove that you learnt something that most of the people haven’t studied so far.

Can I take the netnptel exam outside India?

NPTEL conducts the final certification exam as a proctored exam where the candidate has to come in person to a designated centre and write the exam. We do not have a process in place to conduct proctored exam for candidates outside India. Hence you can enroll and study using these courses.
