The massive sales boom can be attributed to the launch of the fifth edition of the game in 2014 and to “Dungeons and Dragons” shows like “Critical Role.” Sales of new player handbooks and starter sets have been a large portion of Wizards of the Coast’s “Dungeons and Dragons” sales growth.
