Why is Draco so popular?

Lots of people want to be friends with someone they can relate to and they can do that with Draco emtionally. Like almost every other character in the HP universe we grew up with him. This means we have made an emotional connection with him (and many characters). Some feel like friends, sometimes even family.

What is Draco slang for?

The Draco is a gun in the midst of a spike in popularity. It’s a baby AK-47 that has become frequently namechecked in rap in only a few years. “Rather than say any other particular type of gun, you say Draco,” Quelle Chris says.

Why are girls attracted to Draco?

Draco has all the dark glamour of the anti-hero; girls are very apt to romanticise such people. Like Lucius, she thinks Draco was “independently wealthy, without any need to work.” He’s also living at Malfoy Manor with his wife and child.

Why is Draco and Harry Potter so popular?

There is almost twice the number of fan fictions about Harry and Draco than there is the second most popular Harry Potter couple, which says it all about the ship’s popularity. This is the ultimate enemies-to-lovers trope, taking two bitter rivals and dialing in on their potential for romantic tension.

Why did Draco Malfoy make fun of Ron and Hermione?

Draco always made fun of Ron for his family and being poor, and Draco called Hermione horrible slurs. It doesn’t seem like Harry could be with someone who had done these things to his best friends. In Harry Potter, Harry is someone who is rather intense and can be a little bit dramatic at times.

Harry is someone who often looks out for others and wants to help people while Draco’s natural inclination seems to be more to look out for himself and not care what happens to other people. This is a big difference that would make it hard for them to work together as a couple.

Why do so many people like Draco and Hermione together?

A lot of HP fans relate to Hermione and through her they seek to change Draco, redeeming him through their love. Plus some people like that dynamic of love/hate, where characters fight as an expression of some underlying passion, but if they can only channel that emotional intensity into a relationship then it would be ~fiery~ and ~passionate~.
