Yes, you can give JEE in your first year.

Is JEE Main enough for btech?

Good JEE Main/ Score to Secure Admission in Top Engineering Colleges. In order to secure admission to top engineering colleges in India (apart from IITs, NITs or IIITs), you should have above 80 percentile in JEE Main exam. There is also an option to appear for entrance exams conducted by various deemed universities.

Does Jee help in engineering?

JEE is the most important prerequisite for admission into various government and private engineering colleges. It can open doors for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutes. Students who qualify JEE Advanced with a good rank can also get admission into IISER and IISc.

Is btech harder than Jee?

They are completely different from each other. Honestly it cant be compared. You use the concepts used in the jee syllabus in some subjects of btech like physics and chemistry and even maths. Once they start teaching you things related to your branch, it wont be difficult if your previous concepts are clear.

Can I do BTech without JEE?

Answer. Yes, India is full of colleges that do not ask for jee exam.

Can I study BTech without appearing for JEE Main?

Yes, you are eligible to study BTech without appearing for JEE Main. The only necessary requisite is that you must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your Class 12. The only problem you will be facing is that you won’t be eligible to apply in the central government colleges.

Why is there a high number of applications for the JEE Main?

On clearing JEE Main B.E/ B. Tech Paper, students will also have the opportunity to answer JEE Advanced for admission into IITs. Students have the option of taking JEE Main B.E/ B. Tech Paper in two sessions for better marks. All these factors contribute to the high number of applications for the JEE Main B.E/B.Tech paper.

What is the difference between JEE Main and JEE Advanced?

JEE Main examination is conducted by NTA at the national level. It is held in the month of April of each year for admission into undergraduate engineering programs. It is an online examination, conducted over three hours and the paper is of 360 marks. JEE Advanced, previously known as IIT JEE, is the second phase of the JEE Main examination.

What is the difference between JEE Main Paper 1 and 2?

The number of best-ranking institutes taking in students through JEE Main Paper 1 is higher than those institutes taking students through Papers 2 and 3. On clearing JEE Main B.E/ B. Tech Paper, students will also have the opportunity to answer JEE Advanced for admission into IITs.
