In fact, it’s precisely because the game is finite (that is, there are a finite number of plays because you have a finite stake) that the game is most definitely solvable.

Poker may be more emotionally demanding because of the luck factor, but chess is by far the tougher game. A poker player will use math to calculate potential hands, and try to get a read on their opponent.

Poker is a game of incomplete information that uses cards to generate randomness while chess is a game of complete information with no elements of chance. But both the games share some key similarities that makes chess players good candidates play poker, and equivalently, poker players suited to play chess.
