Madara sought Kurama and enslaved him to his will with genjutsu by using his Sharingan. Presumably he also used his Sharingan to force Kurama into a summoning contract, hence why Kurama both despises and fears Madara Uchiha and his visual prowess, and why Madara was able to summon Kurama at will.

With the PS, Madara surely has the chances to do so. It’s still his power so he can beat Kurama whenever he wants, he only loses if hes restricted of using genjutsu. I agree about what you said, but Kurama’s the strongest tailed beast. Without genjutsu, I’d say that Madara has 50\% chance of winning.

First of all madara was affiliated with leaf but he don’t follow the order from leaf and did everything on his own. He was ruthless shinobi, merciless and of course the strongest of his time. Someone with evil (evil is not an appropriate here more like someone who’s unpresictable) intent and this strong would be scary.
