How do I reduce the heat on my Acer Nitro 5?

Simple – Stop using it on bed. There’s no other reason that a Nitro 5 would cross 92 C, at least in my experience. And of course, over the long term, clean the vents. And oh, also, don’t get ultra-paranoid over temperatures, since Intel 8th Gen and AMD Ryzen 3000 Laptops, it is common to see 90 C.

My idle temp is in 60s without any app and cpu usage below 5\%.

I have the AN515-53 that has the i5-8300h with the GTX 1050. I’ve been getting temps of 180-215 degree Fahrenheit even during normal use. I placed it in the freezer (set at 32 degrees F) for 10 minutes last week and I’m now getting 100-140 degrees on normal use.
