What is the importance of NIOS?

The key purpose of NIOS is to provide primary, secondary, senior secondary, vocational, and life skill education to a diverse group of learners which include differently or specially enabled students. It also offers teacher training courses for early childhood and elementary education.

Is NIOS valid for higher education?

Yes, the NIOS board is recognized by all universities and education institution in India. It is the most authentic open school in the world. The National Open School is a government authorized board.
