Can you take the online GMAT more than once?
Candidates can take the GMAT™ online exam up to two times. All GMAT™ online exam attempts will count towards your 5 GMAT™ Exam attempts during a rolling 12-month period and 8 lifetime limits. Online and test center appointments will be combined to determine your eligibility for future appointments.
How is the online GMAT proctored?
The GMAT online exam is remote proctored, meaning human proctors (supported by AI technology) monitor your session and workspace throughout your session via a live video and audio feed, which is recorded. Your proctor will check the photos you took before the start of the exam.

What happens when I Complete my GMAT exam?
When you complete your exam, you will see your unofficial GMAT scores – Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, and Total. You will be given two (2) minutes to decide whether to cancel or accept your score. If the time expires before you make a selection, your score will be automatically canceled.
How long does it take to reinstate a cancelled GMAT score?
Canceled scores can be reinstated up to four years and 11 months from the exam date. (This time frame accounts for the five-year validity of a GMAT exam score, with a one month allowance for processing.) If a score is reinstated, the score report will be sent to the initial list of schools that you selected on test day.
Do I need to take the GMAT to apply to MBA programs?
A caveat: If you are still working on your bachelor’s degree and have a strong grade point average (GPA), it’s possible to apply to the MBA program and be accepted. Whether or not you opt to take the GMAT, you will need to have all transcripts from your undergraduate institution (s) sent to National before being fully accepted into the MBA program.
What is the shelf life of GMAT scores?
GMAT scores have a five-year shelf life, so if you take the exam, scores can be submitted to colleges or universities up to five years from the date you took the exam.
