Is NTU really good?

National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are both consistently ranked among the global top 15 in the QS World University Rankings®, and are typically extremely close together in the table. This year, NUS is the highest ranked Singaporean university, by one place.

Is NTU respected?

NTU is ranked within the Top 5 in Asia and within the Top 55 globally by various international rankings. Impressive accomplishments that speak volumes of the global recognition NTU has achieved thus far.

Is it hard to enter NTU?

Well, like any of the other top notch universities NTU is also a little hard to get into but nothing is hard for someone dedicated to get into the college and course one wants.

Is IIT better than NTU?

NTU has a nice global ranking. But the studies in NTU will be similar to IITs . Global ranking is based on students performance. It is true that performance of students in IITs is low as compared to students of NTU.

Is there bell curve in NTU?

No. As far as I know, for all the modules that I took with low number of students (i.e. <=15) , the course coordinators usually clarified that there was no bell curve used to classify students.

How do you get on the dean’s list at NTU?

The top 5\% of the cohort, subject to attaining a minimum YGPA of 4.50 and taking at least 16 AU of graded courses in the academic year, is eligible for the Dean’s list. In addition, Final Year students must attain at least a Second Upper Honours degree in order to be considered for the Dean’s List.

Why should I study in NTU?
