What is the meaning of Blue Brain?

Blue brain technology is a virtual machine powered by artificial neural networks (ANNs). It is one of the advanced applications of artificial intelligence (AI) to the human brain that aims to address many of the pressing problems involved in brain dysfunctions, the human mind, and consciousness.

What is virtual brain in Blue Brain?

“Blue Brain” is the name of the world’s first virtual brain. This is a machine that can work like a human brain. Today, scientists are exploring the possibility of creating an artificial brain that can think, respond, make decisions, and memorize everything.

Who invented blue brain?

Henry Markram
Project blue brain is headed by Henry Markram, professor at EPFL. The blue brain is using a supercomputer which was created by IBM called as “Blue Gene” which runs software developed by Michael Hines’s and John Moore named “NEURON”, a simulation environment which models network of neurons in human brain.

What is green brain?

Green-brain people are logical, innovative and independent. Green represents growth and knowledge.

What is the red brain?

When we start reacting, we enter into what is called the red brain. The red brain is your fight or flight, which is great for short term life-threatening situations, but you see our brain can’t decipher between a physical threat or a psychological threat. It sends us immediately to the red brain to cope.

Can we simulate a human?

A human brain’s neuronal activity is incredibly complex and simulating it at a 1:1 ratio is impossible with current technology. To go beyond the 1 percent and simulate the entire human brain would require the memory available to each processor to be 100 times larger than in today’s supercomputers.

What is the Blue Brain Project about?

The blue brain project (BPP) makes use of the Blue Gene supercomputer developed by IBM to carry out simulations. Hence the project is named the “Blue Brain”. The main aim is to upload a human brain into the computer, so that it can think, and make decisions without the presence of a human body.

What is Blue Brain Project?

The Blue Brain Project is an attempt to reverse engineer the human brain and recreate it at the cellular level inside a computer simulation. The project was founded in May 2005 by Henry Markram at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

What is Blue Brain technology?

The Blue Brain technology is the latest invention in the field of neural networks. This technology will open new doors in the field of artificial intelligence. The blue brain technology provides a comprehensive simulation of the essential internal connectivity of the cerebral parts with the external artificial intelligent network.

What are the colors of the brain?
