Popular times graph: Shows how busy your location typically is during different times of the day. Popular times are based on average popularity over the last several weeks. Popularity for any given hour is shown relative to the typical peak popularity for the business for the week.

How does Google know how busy a park is?

Google’s latest feature will tell you how busy a place is in real-time before you set off. The feature uses anonymised location data from other Google users, as well as searches, to analyse how busy it is at that moment.

How do you add your popular time on Google?

Look for the “Popular times” chart in the panel—you may need to scroll down to see it. Look for a “Live” time that tells you how busy a business is right now. You can also click the name of the weekday and select another day of the week to check when the location is usually the busiest.

What is real-time data on Google Maps?

Real-Time data is sent by smartphones (GPS) that report how fast cars are moving right then. When Smart phone users turn on their Google Maps app with GPS location enabled, the phone sends back bits of data, anonymously, to Google that let the company know how fast their cars are moving.
