Does HP Pavilion have SSD?

HP Pavilion x360 dh0043TX 2019 14-inch Laptop (8th Gen i5-8265U/8GB/1TB HDD + 256GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/2GB Graphics), Natural Silver + WD My Passport 1TB Portable External Hard Drive (Black) Combo.

Can I upgrade HP Pavilion RAM to 16GB?

Yes. Right now your model has a single 8 gig module of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM memory and it has an open slot. You could add another 8 gig module to have 16 gigs. 32 gigs (2 x 16 gig modules) is also possible.

Can you upgrade the RAM on a HP Pavilion?

Most laptops allow the user to upgrade their RAM or memory by adding a stick to a compartment in the computer. At HP®, most of our laptops have been designed so the user can open the unit with a Phillips screwdriver and add new or upgrade computer memory with relative ease.

Is it possible to add an M2 slot to the motherboard?

To make it even more difficult, on this model the M.2 slot (not to mention the memory slots) is on the backside of the motherboard so if you wanted to install an M.2 you would perhaps have to give up a memory module and drop to 8 gigs and the motherboard would have to be removed. This is definitely not a job for a shadetree mechanic.

It does make it difficult to determine whether it is TLC memory. TLC memory is what your notebook needs. The Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD products are known compatible with your notebook. I am not an HP Employee. 08-10-2018 07:54 AM So, my laptop needs and SSD m2 with TLC right? And, the webpage says that it is TLC, so it will work right?

Does hp use Mystery Meat motherboards in their laptops?

As documented in another thread, it appears HP has been known to use “mystery meat” motherboards in laptops that don’t match up with the associated, admittedly vague, documentation. Might explain some of the issue.
