What I learned from being a personal trainer?
Having your personal training certification means you have learned the fundamentals of fitness, movement, exercise science, training, and coaching. Trainer certification also proves you have the knowledge base necessary to help clients meet their goals safely and effectively.
What are potential benefits to working as a fitness trainer or instructor?
You will see clients grow stronger, take on more reps, lift more weight, gain stamina and improve their outlook. You are a key part of these transformations. There are very few other careers that allow you to play such a direct role in a person’s life.
What inspires you to be a trainer?
At the very core of every good personal trainer, you will find a desire and talent for helping others to live the very best life possible, through supporting them in developing and practicing good health habits and being as absolutely fit as possible.
Why is it important to understand the advantages of personal training?
One of the primary reasons that someone should have a personal trainer is that they can educate you on all aspects of health, fitness and exercise. Knowledge is power and when it comes to your fitness goals, having a proper understanding of what is required for you to reach those goals is incredibly empowering.
What do you love about personal training?
The ability to use my knowledge, experience, and love of fitness to help enrich somebody else’s life. I’ve had so many clients tell me their favourite part of the day was our session; what a fantastic feeling! Getting that call or sms really makes it so worthwhile. I look forward to going to work everyday!
