If you are talented enough (or really good at improving fast) then even age of 18 is acceptable as a trainee. Other smaller agencies accept older trainees more easily (at least what I’ve observed). Most of trainees at the smaller companies start at the age of 13–16 yrs.

Is 16 too old to audition for JYP?

There is no age limit…But your chance are much to get selected…if you are under 19..

Are Kpop idols virgin?

Idols just like actors date people and have sex with them. Only a gullible person would think K pop idols aren’t going around dating and being sexually active.
