What does NBRC mean?

The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Inc. is a non-profit organization formed in 1960 with the purpose of awarding and maintaining credentialing for Respiratory Therapists in the United States.

Is NBRC a government?

About NBRC Located in the foothills of the Aravali range in Manesar, Haryana, NBRC is an autonomous institute funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and is also a Deemed-to-be University. NBRC has been recognised as an Institution of Excellence by Govt. of India.

Why is NBRC important?

NBRC credentials provide recognition for hard work and dedication to quality. For the same reason all 49 states regulating the profession recognize NBRC examinations as standards for state licensure: success requires exceptional knowledge and competency.
