Does nano hydroxyapatite rebuild enamel?

It is found in the saliva, where your body uses it to maintain tooth strength. Nano hydroxyapatite is the same mineral, made in a lab, that can be used by the body to replenish lost enamel minerals and encourage new bone growth and development. Bones are made of calcium, as is tooth enamel.

How does hydroxyapatite toothpaste work?

Since your teeth recognize HAp, they absorb hydroxyapatite down to the root, making it extremely beneficial for cavity prevention. In other words, HAp can rebuild enamel on any tooth surface by reaching down into even the furthest area of decay.

Does hydroxyapatite degrade?

HA can be degraded in body, which is the reason for its bioactivity, but too fast degradation rate could cause negative effects, such as macrophage present, particle generation, and even implant clinical failure.

Is it possible to repair enamel?

Enamel is the thin outer layer of material that covers the portion of your teeth outside of the gums. Poor diet habits, an unhealthy oral care routine, and other factors can weaken and damage your enamel. Once damaged, your tooth enamel cannot be repaired. However, weakened enamel can be repaired.
