Does midir have a tail weapon?

Midir appears to have no eyes, which led me to believe he is blind. His physical attacks consist of large, sweeping movements that appear sporadic and flailing. Not something you would do if you could see the enemy. Moreover, his laser attacks are also fired haphazardly.
