Is education system in India is not job oriented?
According to me our education system is not job oriented as there are more theoretical content in that than practical use. It needs to get revised according to the current requirements . And also more emphasis should be given on practice of that and proper implementation of the knowledge learned.

For over 30 years the hot topic on debate is “Indian education system is not employment oriented”. There is a vast gap between a “General” and “Vocational” education system in India. It is been planted in the young minds that they have to become at least Graduates rather than industry-ready to get going.

Not all schools but many of them are introducing STEM, STEAM and Coding in their curriculum from elementary stage only. Now, the education and activities are more learner centric then they were in my time.

Most colleges have specialization in a particular field, rather than broad training in a number of subjects. This still does not meet the industry demand of job-ready graduates.
Why is education job oriented?
Education should be job- oriented. Only this kind of education will save thousands of our young men from being unemployed and from being burdens to their parents and to the nation at large. Education, which orients a students to any better career is the need of the day.
