Can you be recalled from leave?
While annual leave does need to be taken at a time that has been agreed to by the employer, once the period of leave has commenced an employer does not have a unilateral right to recall an employee from annual leave.
Can the Army recall you?
The rules vary, but, generally speaking, any reservist can be recalled to active duty for the duration of a declared war or national emergency, plus an additional six months. If there is no state of emergency, the president can recall up to 200,000 reservists for at least 400 days.
Can the military cancel your leave?
Typically not. Leave is an earned benefit not a privilege. Therefore the only person that can revoke your leave status and return you to duty is the commander granting the leave.
Can the army call you back on terminal leave?
It can happen but seldom when you are on terminal leave you are still in the military till your leave expires most of the time they will concider you out. But if you are needed. Say in time of war or you did something you might need to answer for they can call you back off leave.
Is Army leave a right or privilege?
Leave is a right (not a privilege) that is granted by Congress under federal law. However, the commander approves or denies all leave requests based on unit mission/training, pending Uniformed Code of Military Justice action, administration action, health and welfare of the Soldiers or unit strength percentages.
What army regulation covers leave?
Leave for members of the Armed Forces is governed by Title 10, United States Code, Chapter 40 (10 USC Chapter 40) and Section 876a, Title 10, United States Code (10 USC 876a).
Can you go back to the military after being discharged?
Re-Entry (RE) Codes Every soldier will get a DD-214 when they are discharged from the military. For the Army, having a re-entry code of RE-1 (or any of the variants) are able to rejoin the military without any special conditions, whereas an RE-2 may be ineligible unless certain qualifications are met first.

How many leave days can you sell back to the army?
60 days
Selling Back Leave You may sell back a maximum of 60 days of leave over the course of your military career. Military leave is sold back at your base pay rate and does not include any special pays or allowances.
