Why is a square not called a Quadangle?

It is an equilateral, equiangular quadrilateral. An equilateral triangle is automatically equiangular, but that’s not true for a quadrilateral (or any polygon with more than 3 sides). “If a triangle is called a triangle, why is square not called a quadrangle?”.
