    Exam pattern PLAB 1 – This exam is conducted in MCQ format consisting of 180 questions that have to be solved in 3 hours. PLAB 2 – this part comprises an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) which consists of 18 clinical stations. Each station is 18 minutes long with 2 minutes of reading time.

    1. Get yourself in the related groups for PLAB 1 preparation.
    2. Download the 1700 Qbank and other related materials.
    3. Set a target of questions per day.
    4. Mark the questions you think need reviewing.
    5. Look up the references.
    6. Take adequate rest.
    7. Attempt as many mock tests.

    Can I take PLAB 1 while I’m doing my internship/house job? Yes, you can. And, I think if you decide to be a doctor in the UK, an internship/house job is the best time to start your journey.
