The size is almost always written somewhere on the sidewall of the tyre. Inner tubes typically state a wheel diameter and width range for which they will work, e.g. 26 x 1.95-2.125″, indicating that the tube is intended to fit a 26 inch tyre with a width of between 1.95 inches and 2.125 inches.
IS 700c same as 622?
The standard modern road bike wheel has an ISO diameter of 622 mm and is referred to as 700c (makes sense, right? /s). While the diameter for both 29″ and 700c wheels is the same at 622mm, rims made for mountain bikes are generally wider to accommodate wider tires.

What is the difference between 26 inch and 700c?
A 26 inch, or a 650c wheel is about 1 inch smaller (about 2 inches smaller with road slicks) in diameter than a 700c. It seems that some people believe that larger wheels mean faster wheels. Some people think that because 700c wheels are the ‘standard’ for road bikes, they must be better.

No, tubes and tires don’t need to match exactly. Tubes are made from butyl rubber which can stretch. Bike inner tubes will accommodate a limited range of sizes. Larger tubes may be more susceptible to getting pinched between the tire and rim.
