What is money on hold in Paytm?

As per the RBI guidelines, you can hold a maximum of ₹2 lakhs in your Paytm Payments Bank account at end of the day. This limit is imposed on the sum of your wallet and Savings Account balances.

What happens if Paytm payment is stuck?

If you are not able to find your settlement, even after 2 days of transaction, contact our 24×7 helpline. If you still can’t find your settlement, don’t worry your money is safe with us and we will retry sending it to your bank account again in the next 24 hours.

How long does money stay in Paytm wallet?

As per RBI guidelines, your minimum KYC will expire in 24 months unless you complete full KYC with in-person verification. After expiry, you will not be able to add money to your wallet or transfer the balance amount to your bank account.

How can I refund my Paytm wallet money?

  1. To return the amount to your source bank account, simply go to the transaction in your passbook and tap on the ‘Return To Bank’ option.
  2. Tap on confirm and the amount will be refunded to your source bank account.

Can I get back money I sent on Paytm?

Paytm does not have the right to reverse the amount of a successful transaction without the consent of the receiver. Wallet to wallet transfers are processed instantly and the amount is added to the receiver’s wallet immediately.

No, you cannot transfer funds above Rs. 2 lakhs per transaction to accounts outside Paytm Payments Bank on bank holidays due to unavailability of NEFT.
