How was x-23 created?

Zander Rice, whom Sutter had raised after Rice’s father had been killed by a bestial Wolverine at the original Weapon X Facility, Sutter allowed Kinney to proceed. As revenge for her insubordination, Rice forced Kinney to act as the surrogate mother for the specimen, and she gave birth to “X-23.”

Not only is Laura a clone of the original Wolverine, but Laura herself has a clone. Her little ‘sister’ Gabby Kinney is the clone of Laura. Part of at least ten clones of Laura, Gabby is probably the most well known.

Who is X-23 in the comics?

Making her debut in 2003 in the third season of the show, Laura Kinney was born as X-23. She appeared again in season 4 before transitioning into comic books in 2004 in the series NYX. The idea of her being developed in order to relate to children is funny due to her usually being depicted in cases of ultra-violence.
